For David Grey, the path from Camden, NJ to military pilot training was chartered on a dream and an ancestral blueprint. Excellence was not discovered, it was inherited from a father’s guidance and an uncle who broke barriers in the skies as a Tuskegee Airman. This page is a tribute to that relentless will to chase the horizon.

The Turning Point
From Wide-Body Jets to Cinematic Masterpieces
Twenty years of distinguished military service across the globe culminated in the rank of Lieutenant Colonel and the presentation of the Bronze Star Medal. This was followed by 28 years as an American Airlines Senior Captain navigating international wide-body routes.

Rather than slow down, David chose to reinvent. Bringing that exact same lifelong requirement for absolute operational precision to the film industry, he founded FlyBoy Films. Art requires logistics. Capturing a live performance, charting a human-centric documentary arc, or translating a corporate software concept requires an open runway.
He did not leave aviation to begin filmmaking. He transferred a 48-year operating standard into another craft.
